Tell OSHA: Protect Latino Workers from the Harms of Extreme Heat!
Submit a Salud America! model comment to address the new standard that can protect Latinos and all workers from extreme heat!
Millions across the US brave extreme heat conditions to work outside and improve their communities.
Many of these workers are Latino and working in states with no guaranteed heat protections.
As we continue to feel the deadly effects of extreme heat, decision-makers are proposing a new federal rule to protect some of the country's most vulnerable workers.
This change could include paid water and shade breaks, heat preparedness plans, and mandatory training to spot the signs of heat illness before it's too late.
Voice your support by submitting a model comment created by Salud America! by Dec. 30, 2024, to address the proposal to help protect Latinos and all workers from the heat!
