Expand Health Care for DACA Recipients!
Submit a model comment created by Salud America! on a federal proposal to expand healthcare coverage access for Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) recipients!
Of the 580,000 DACA recipients that live and work in the United States, only 34% have access to health insurance coverage.
The US Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is proposing a rule to expand health care for DACA by reducing barriers to access of the Affordable Care Act Marketplaces, Medicaid, and the Children’s Health Insurance Program.
You can speak up on the proposal, which could help 129,000 previously uninsured DACA recipients receive healthcare coverage.
